Audio Production - BA (Hons) This programme
provides an educational context in which students can develop creative,
critical, analytical, technical and organisational skills appropriate to
eventual employment in the audio, media, music and the cultural
industries.
Documentary Production - BA (Hons) This
innovative course enables students to create and explore factual subjects
through a variety of media.
Film & Television - BA (Hons) This
course is distinctive in enabling you to pursue academic study complemented by
creative opportunities and technical training in scriptwriting, production
planning, single-camera and multiple-camera production.
Film & Television and English - BA (Hons)
BA (Hons) Film and Television and English provides an educational
context in which students can develop conceptual, critical and analytical
knowledge and research skills, as well as develop practical and creative
skills.
Film & Television and Journalism - BA
(Hons) The BA (Hons) Film & Television and Journalism is
distinctive in that academic study and development of journalistic skills can be
complemented by creative opportunities and technical training.
Media Production - BA (Hons) BA (Hons)
Media Production was the first broad-based production course in the UK, and has
rapidly established a solid reputation. Students on this course can specialise
in Film and Video production.

Postgraduate Courses (One year full time or two years part time)
Digital Imaging and Photography - MA The
course offers the photographic practitioner an opportunity to explore new
developments and to challenge traditional categories, encouraging an
experimental, content-led approach to working with the photograph across
networked media contexts.
Digital Media - MA The MA in Digital Media
is aimed at students wishing to strengthen their knowledge and understanding of
the digital media area, or for media professionals to ‘convert’ existing
knowledge and expertise to accommodate and understand rapidly shifting and
evolving digital technologies.
Media and Cultural Studies - MA This
programme investigates the critical issues and debates in the critical analysis
of contemporary media and culture.
Media and Cultural Studies - MRes/MPhil/PhD
The MRes Media and Cultural Studies provides a programme of
research training leading to a Master’s degree with the option of pursuing a
substantial piece of original research under supervision leading to the
MPhil/PhD degree.
Media Production - MA The MA Media
Production aims to provide students, in a theoretical context, with a
comprehensive understanding of media production in one of a variety of media
platforms i.e. radio, single or *multi-camera production, screenwriting,
photography or design or new media.

Camera & Lighting Skills Master
Class
This full day Master Class is a
tutorial and workshop which, on completion, will enable you to take your camera
and lighting skills to a higher level including:
• Introduction to the video camera • Taking control
of the Gain, Focus, Exposure and White Balance functions • Composition •
Camera angles • How to achieve the ‘film look’ • Using natural and
artificial light • How to set up and light the perfect interview • How to
be confident in your work and enjoy film making
Tutor: Brian Hall A.R.P.S. – University of
Lincoln’s School of Media. Brian has 30 years of experience as a BBC lighting
cameraman and freelance Director of Photography, including ‘worldwide’- his
filming assignments took him to more than 40 countries.
